Yesterday we had our last of 3 games this week and the one we most looked forward to. Örebro visited us in our gym this time. Lindesberg vs. Örebro! A friendly neighbor rivalry. Time to defend home court!! After our tough loss on wednesday we were all fired up and ready to feel a victory. We came out guns blazing.
Although we had some close scores and some occasional ties I don’t think Örebro led by a single point the entire match. There was no doubt for us that we would win. We felt so prepared and with all of the games lately we have started to feel very comfortable and confidant playing with eachother. With this 3 point win (you get 3 points for every match win in 3 or 4 games, 2 or 1 points for every 5 game match and are ranked by your teams total points) we moved from 5th place in league to 4th which was one of our goals form the very beginning of season. Now we have to continue to work hard and take care of our last few games before playoffs come around.
Lindesberg – Örebro 3 – 0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-22)
Lindesberg 75 poäng på: Serve 6, Block 6, Anfall 36, Motst misstag 27
Örebro 63 poäng på: Serve 4, Block 7, Anfall 29, Motst misstag 23

So as Marcie said, we dominated Örebro once today but once again Örebro is about to be taken over by Linde cuz we are comin’ to party. As a team we got to celebrate at a team mates apartment and then we went to the first real club I would say I have been to here. Ritz. We danced and sang and celebrated the night away with a few signature victory songs 🙂 3-0 SiggeBo you know 3-0 Örebro 3-0!!!!!
It was a spectacular saturday for Linde Volley.
