Nordic Championships Somero, Finland

In the first match was against last year’s winners Somero. They had two good players who repeatedly ruled in Finnish hands, and it was left Lubov Tihomirova and center Lindsay Piccolini. The match was very even and swung back and forth. In the end it was Somero who pulled the longest straw and decided really at the beginning of the fifth set when Lindesberg stuck in a layout. The final bottom line is still in this game you could really see the potential of girls and they showed a great fighting spirit throughout the match. Still arrives the focus a bit in the middle of the sets and this is something you have to work on. Somero won the match 3-2.

In the second match on Saturday was a completely different scenario of the match and the girls. None did, and embers from the previous day was blown away. Fortuna Odense contrast was really tagagde won completely fairly. But they were also very free when Lindesberg gave away the match from the outset. Lindesberg lost with clear 3-0.
