Yesterday was an all out battle in Lindeskolan in Lindesberg. We showed Sollentuna, the crowd, and everyone what we were made of coming out victorious hosting the first quarterfinal game. It was in my opinion the most consistent and versatile 5 game match we have played thus far. With Nadya injured and Marcie in PR there were a lot of haters out there labeling us as the series underdog and I am proud to say we made a statement and silenced them for now with this win. Our team has been practicing hard and are all on the same page I feel, ready to play as a team and leave it all on the court. We were down 1 game to 2 and in the 4th game down 7-15 and 10-16 and came back to win game 4 and carried over into game 5 we were up 13-6 and won 15-10! It showed great courage and determination to come back when you are down like that AND win. We had an immense amount of focus and intensity which isn’t easy to maintain for a 5 game match!
I am very proud of Linde Volley and excited to play again on Wednesday in Sollentuna. We will be doing a webcast live video streaming of the game and I will post the address as soon as I get it.
Round 2 @ Sollentuna Wednesday March 17th (also Pula’s 1yr birthday)
